  - When downloading 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.exe, be sure to download it in 
    BINARY mode. The 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.README.FTP file and 
    5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.README_api_enu.htm files are downloaded in ASCII. 

  - Files:
    - 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.exe         Self extracting executable
    - 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.README_api_enu.htm Readme file
    - 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.README.FTP  This readme file.

  - The following information provides instructions for starting the 
    installation. Before starting the installation, be sure that you have 
    downloaded the correct 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.exe file. It is also a 
    good idea to review the 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.README_enu.htm file before 
    performing the installation, in order to acquaint yourself with what 
    is new in this update.

  - This package is for OS/400 V5R3M0 or later. The self-extracting 
    executable (5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.exe) is run on a Microsoft 
    Windows system.

  - Installation instructions:
    1) Extract the installation image by running the executable:
       - 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.exe
      
       Extract the files into a Windows path that you can find later.

       This creates these files on your Windows system. 
       - qansapi.file, the save file used to load the product on OS/400
       - 5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.README_api_enu.htm - the readme file

    2) Be sure to start in the Windows directory in which you 
       extracted the package.

       Send the QANSAPI.FILE file to your OS/400 system. The following steps 
       show a typical sequence:

        a. Log on OS/400 as a user with authority to use the RSTLICPGM command.

        b. Create the save file on OS/400 to receive the PTF save file 

           1. If required, create a library from the OS/400 command line:
              CRTLIB LIB(TIVOLILIB) TEXT('Tivoli library')
              Note that you can use any library you may have already created.

           2. On the OS/400 command line, enter
              CRTSAVF FILE(TIVOLILIB/QANSAPI) 
                      TEXT('TSM APIs 5.5.1') 

        c. From the Windows system which contains QANSAPI.FILE, use 
           ftp to send the save file image to OS/400. Change to the Windows 
           directory that contains the save file. After logging on the 
           OS/400 system using ftp, do these steps:
              ftp> bin
              ftp> cd tivolilib (or whatever library you choose to use)
              ftp> put qansapi.file
              ftp> bye

         (If you use iSeries Navigator, you can drag and drop this file from 
         your Windows system to your library, found under File 
         Systems / Integrated File System /QSYS.LIB.)

    3) Load and apply the licensed program from the save file.

        a. On the OS/400 command line type RSTLICPGM and press F4.
        b. Install the Product parameter 5733197 to begin the install 
        c. Enter *SAVF for the DEVICE and press Enter.
        d. For the save file name, enter QANSAPI, and the library
           where the save file was placed via FTP (in the example above,
           it was TIVOLILIB)
        c. Enter any options and press Enter to begin the installation.

    4) Complete the installation by following the directions in 
        5.5.1.0-TIV-TSMBAC-OS400.README_api_enu.htm
