Wordperfect 6.0 for DOS - WPTHESIS version 1.0 Thesis Package

Files:

Steps:

1. Using DOS, Wordperfect or your FTP client, make a directory (MkDir)
   called WPSUTH60 on your hard drive if you do not already have one:

      C:
      CD \
      MKDIR \WPSUTH60

2. Using your FTP client, copy the pair of files

          WP60V10.EXE (binary)
      and WP60V10.TXT (ascii)

   to the WPSUTH60 directory you just created in step 1.

3. Terminate your FTP session and get to a DOS prompt "C:\>" and issue
   the following DOS commands one at a time:

   C:
   CD \WPSUTH60
   DIR (should show)
      WP60V10.EXE
      WP60V10.TXT
   WP60V10 -y

4. Your WPSUTH60 directory should now look like this:

   WPSUTH60
      HELP         <DIR>
      MACROS       <DIR>
      SAMPLES      <DIR>
      STYLES       <DIR>
      SUBDOCS      <DIR>
      ASK     .COM
      INSTALL .BAT
      READ1ST
      WPTHESIS.BAT
      WPTHESIS.WPM
      WP60V10.EXE
      WP60V10.TXT

5. Copy WPTHESIS>BAT to the Worperfect directory with the DOS command:

   COPY  C:\WPSUTH60\WPTHESIS.BAT  C:\WP60

6. Now look through the READ1ST file for other documentation, but
   ignore the INSTALL steps which you have aready done.

7. When you are ready to start WPTHESIS, issue these DOS commands:

     A:\> C:
     C:\> CD \WP60       or just  C:\WP60\WPTHESIS
     C:\WP60> WPTHESIS

8. When you feel installation is complete, you can erase the 2 files:

     C:\WPSUTH60\WP60V10.EXE
     C:\WPSUTH60\WP60V10.TXT
