BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION SERVICE AREAS There are several subject areas within The Smeal College of Business Administration which are not majors, but which provide support for the College's academic majors. One of these disciplines, Business Law, for administrative purposes, is located within the Insurance and Real Estate Department in 409 Business Administration Building. Each of these areas is served by faculty members with expertise in the specific subjects. The courses they offer fulfill a variety of College curriculum categories depending upon the major field, i.e., College Requirements, Supporting Business and Electives. LEGAL ENVIRONMENT OF BUSINESS MINOR The Legal Environment of Business minor is under the auspices of the Business Law faculty. The minor provides an overview of the impact of civil and criminal law upon society and business. The minor also introduces students to general public policies toward business, as well as an understanding of the social responsibilities of business in our society.
