National Salary Potential*


According to the Economic Research Institute, a beginning
ACTUARY made about $37,000 in 1990.  The average salary
for everyone working in this field was $49,500 and some
experienced workers made as much as $100,000.

According to the College Placement Council Salary Survey,
average annual salaries offered beginning ACTUARIES with a
bachelor's degree were $32,000 in 1992-93.
