The purpose of this directory is to provide a place for me to leave files 
so that colleagues and students can access files of mutual interest.  
These files can be accessed using ftp software such as Fetch on 
the Macintosh or one of the client browsers like Netscape.  
It is also possible to "put" files into this folder for me to review.  

In most cases, I put out papers in Microsoft WORD (v. 5.1 for the Mac).  
These files are zipped unless otherwise noted.  If your word processor 
can not convert Mac WORD files, let me know and I will put out 
a copy in another format.
