THESIS AND RESEARCH 
PAPER BINDING 
REQUIREMENTS

On March 16 ProfessorŠinŠCharge Ken Gray sent a 
memorandum to faculty to  clear up confusion about 
binding requirments for masters research papers and 
masters and doctoral theses. 

Students should refer to the Graduate Bulletin and the 
Graduate SchoolÕs thesis guide to determine the Graduate 
SchoolÕs binding requirements. The vocationalŠindustrial 
education program has additional binding requirements. 


The studentÕs advisor receives a bound copy of the 
completed masters research paper or masters thesis. The 
graduate program secretary receives a second bound copy, 
which is displayed in the programÕs reading room in 103 
Rackley Building.

Each committee member receives a bound copy of a 
completed doctoral thesis. The graduate program secretary 
receives a bound copy of the completed doctoral thesis, 
which is displayed in the reading room.
