Subject: UN Resolutions online
 
This is to announce that you can now read UN DPI Press Releases
and General Assembly, Security Council and ECOSOC resolutions
on the UNDP gopher (gopher.undp.org). This is the first 'official'
UN gopher server on the net. Other agencies are implementing their
own (check out the 'Other UN & related Gophers' entry).
 
UNDP, together with DPI is striving to make as much UN public information
available on this gopher as possible. The information is also available
for people who have only access to e-mail via our gophermail gateway.
Instructions on how to use this facility can be obtained by sending
a message to gopher@undp.org (subject and contents irrelevant). It is
reasonably easy to use and bridges the information gap for people
beyond the IP connected world.
