EINet would like to announce an *experimental* World Wide Web-based directory service called the EINet Galaxy. EINet Galaxy integrates Gopher Jewels into its overall architecture. Galaxy's Gopher Jewels are searchable and in 60% of the cases the underlying documents on the Gopher's are themselves searchable. That percentage is for the moment limited to those Gophers registered at UMN and in the Veronica database. If you want to go directly to the Galaxy's Jewels portion use: http://galaxy.einet.net/gopher/gopher.html (searchable form) http://galaxy.einet.net/GJ/index.html (traditional structure) The Galaxy URL is: http://galaxy.einet.net/galaxy.html Contact: galaxy@einet.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- LIST SERVICE INFORMATION GOPHERJEWELS@EINET.NET is a MODERATED list service for the sharing of interesting gopher finds. This list expects subscribers that are either gopher developers or gopher users. List Moderator David Riggins david.riggins@tpoint.com List Owner Bruce Speyer speyer@einet.net NO technical Q&A posts or off topic posts PLEASE....
