Teaching Labs 6A Findlay Commons 6A Findlay contains 20 Macintosh SIs. The panel is a black and white DataShow 480. Both the panel and the overhead are stored in the grey cabinet next to the operator. To schedule this room, contact Carl Knowlton at 122P Computer Building, 865-4769, clk@psuvm.psu.edu. Overhead Setup 1. Remove the cord from the bottom of the projector by pressing in the two sliding buttons on either side of the magnetic panels. Please remember to remove all the cord from the compartment before turning on the projector. Plug the cord in. 2. Ready the overhead projector for use by twisting the focus knob and sliding out the top portion. Panel Setup 1. Connect the panel cable where it is marked datashow to the LCD panel. 2. Attach the DataShow cable to the Mac CPU by disconnecting the monitor cable and replacing it with the DataShow cable. 3. Attach the monitor cable to the DataShow cable at the box where it is marked Monitor. 4. Attach the power cord to the panel and plug it in. 5. Turn on the panel and overhead. 6. Turn on the computer. Shutting Down 1. Shut down the computer and turn off the overhead and DataShow panel. 2. Unplug the overhead and panel. 3. Disconnect the DataShow cable from the CPU and the monitor cable from the DataShow box. 4. Plug the monitor cable back into the CPU. 5. Fold down the mirror and lens of the overhead and turn the focus knob until they fit within the body of the overhead. 6. Put the cord of the overhead in the bottom compartment of the overhead, closing the compartment and fastening it shut. 7.
