Now, about the notes...

These are *my* lecture notes for LA-483.  They are being made
available online for the convenience of my students, and others
who may be interested in some of these subjects.

Some important notes:

- These are *my* notes and may not completely reflect what
  is covered in LA-483.  Students are responsible for what
  is covered, not for the content of these notes.  Please do
  note assume that the existence of these notes makes it
  possible to miss class!

  - I may cover additional items in class (and likely will)
    or I may not cover some of the items included in these
    notes.  Be warned!

- I have not had these notes proofread or checked for accuracy,
  which would be important for any published tome since the
  technology changes so frequently.

- These notes are in flux, and I may change them or add to
  them at any time.
